The Insta360 X4 Air has re-ignited my love of 360-degree video shooting. While I'd taken a longish break from the craze, my time with this slimmed-down version of the X4 made me want to carry it with me wherever I went. The body is well-made, it's easy to handle, and the image quality is superb. The low-light performance is what surprised me the most; even though the X4 Air doesn't come with the dedicated PureVideo mode of the X5, it still puts in an admirable performance. The camera is small enough to go unnoticed, while inside it still goes big on quality. While there might not be enough here to justify an upgrade from your X4, if easy handling is a priority, the X4 Air won't disappoint.
